We have manufactured 58 specific brackets for the Royal
Exhibition Building pillars. The brackets are certified by
NATA with a work
limit load of 30 Kg per pair. The brackets have also been
approved by the respective authorities of the Royal Exhibition Building.
We have implemented 100v line distributed speakers for the task,
specially modified to run in this application. In doing so, up to
12 speakers can be run of a single amplifier, with the need for only
four amplifiers to completely cover the bottom floor of the venue.
The Royal Exhibition Building is notorious for it's
acoustic environment, the extremely reverberant nature of the hall makes
it almost impossible to provide detailed audio throughout the venue.
The only effective solution where a high degree of audio intelligibility
is required is to use a distributed system.
